The Tiptree jury is asking for recommendations over at the Whileaway LiveJournal community. (Apparently they too are having difficulty getting books from publishers, and I’m pretty sure that, unlike the Lambdas, they don’t charge entry fees.)

Japan has its own equivalent of the Tiptree Award, the Sense of Gender Award. There is a brief report on some of the panels at Nippon 2007 devoted to women’s writing from Spike here. The Sense of Gender ceremony takes place on Sunday. The Tiptree winners have already been announced.
