Stoker Final Ballot

It is a busy day for award short lists. The final ballot for the 2010 Bram Stoker Awards has been released. You can see the whole thing here. The novel short list is as follows:

HWA Lifetime Achievement

According to SF Scope, the Horror Writers Association (the folks responsible for the Bram Stoker Awards) will be giving their 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award to Brian Lumley and William F. Nolan. Bram Stoker Awards

The Bram Stoker Award Winners for 2009 were announced last night in Burbank. We couldn’t be there, but other people were and SF Scope has been following developments on Twitter. Stephen King won two awards, including the Superior Achievement in a Novel award for Duma Key.

Sci Fi Wire (or possibly SyFy Wyre, who knows) has the list of nominees for this year’s Bram Stoker Awards.

Stokers on TV

SF Scope reports that this year’s Bram Stoker Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on TV over the Internet. That’s quite a coup for the Stokers. Here’s hoping that other awards manage to do the same sort of thing.

Stoker Final Ballot

The nominee lists for this year’s Bram Stoker Awards are now available. Ellen Datlow has the full list. There are also two Lifetime Achievement awards announced, for John Carpenter and Robert Weinberg.

Stoker Awards Preliminary Ballot

The Preliminary Ballot for the Bram Stoker Awards has been released. Ellen Datlow has the details.
It is probably worth pointing out that, as with the Nebulas, this is a Preliminary Ballot. The works on it are not yet “nominees”. Not that this will stop people claiming that they are, but we try.
