A new issue of the news magazine, Concatenation, has gone on line, and as usual they have manged to find awards that we have missed. In their news section they have information about a range of different awards including the Portal Awards from the Ukraine, the Curt Siodomak Preis and Deutscher Science Fiction Preis from [...]
These awards are presented by the German SF Club (award details here) and carry with them a €1000 prize. The winners were: Best Novel: Die fünf Seelen der Ahnen (The Five Souls of the Ancestors), Ulrike Nolte Best Short Story: ‘Canea Null’ ['Canea Zero'], Marcus Hammerschmitt in Visionen 3 (Visions 3) edited by Helmuth W. Also new on the site today is the Deutscher Science Fiction Preis. This is an international award for works written in the German language. There are two categories: novel and short fiction.
