Golden Cob Awards

There are awards for B Movies? Of course there are. Here are the nominees for the 2009 Golden Cob Awards:

Emmy Nominees

This year’s Emmy nominees have been announced. SF Scope has the low-down on genre-related productions that have been honored.

Annecy Film Festival

Neil Gaiman and Henry Selick’s Coraline has been named joint winner (with Mary and Max) of the Best Feature Film award at the Annecy Film Festival. Annecy is an international festival of animation film. Full winners list here.

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association clearly loves genre movies as they voted Wall-E their #1 film of the year, with Dark Knight second. Joe Gordon has details.
