Nebulas Preview

Nebula AwardsAs a prelude to our Nebula Awards coverage later tonight, let’s remind ourselves what we are going to see happen. The highlight of the evening is, of course, the announcement of the winners of the Nebulas, but SFWA has many other awards to give out, the winners of most of which have actually been announced. Here they are:

  • Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award: Harry Harrison
  • SFWA Author Emerita: MJ Engh
  • Bradbury Award: Joss Whedon
  • SFWA Service Award: Victoria Strauss
  • Solstice Award: Kate Wilhelm, Martin H Greenberg, AJ Budrys

In addition SFWA will be announcing the winner of the Andre Norton Award for Young Adult fiction.

    The winners and the nominees form a wonderful reading list. Not a clunker in the bunch.
