Prix Imaginales Nominees

The short lists for this year’s Prix Imaginales have been released. You can find the full list (in French) here. The nominees in the translated novel category are as follows:
- Steve Cockayne, Légendes du pays, Tome 1 : Vagabonds et insulaires (Wanderers and Islanders), trad. Michèle Charrier (Pygmalion)
- David Anthony Durham, Acacia, Tome 1 : La Guerre du Mein (Acacia), trad. Thierry Arson (Le Pré au Clerc)
- Ellen Kushner, À la pointe de l’épée : un mélodrame d’honneur (Swordspoint), trad. Patrick Marcel (Calmann-Lévy)
- Ian McDonald, Roi du matin, reine du jour (King of Morning, Queen of Day), trad. Jean-Pierre Pugi (Denoël)
- Terry Pratchett, Les Annales du disque monde, Tome 30 : Timbré (we think Thud!, but we’ll check), trad. Patrick Couton (L’Atalante)
We also noticed Kelly Link in the short fiction category.
We hope to bring you more information about the French-language nominees in due course. In addition Cheryl will be in Epinal on May 16th for the award ceremony and will at least tweet the winners, hopefully more.
