Prix Européen Utopiales des Pays de la Loire
November 9th, 2009 by Editors
We have one more award announcement from Utopiales (thanks to Aliette de Bodard in whose con report we found the information). The prestigious €3000 Prix Européen Utopiales des Pays de la Loire was awarded to Le Déchronologue by Stéphane Beauverger (La Volte), the same book that won Best Novel in the Grands Prix de l’Imaginaire. Aliette says that the book is an “historical fantasy set in the Caribbean, where pirates end up facing off against time-travellers.” That’s one we’d like to see translated.
More awards from Utopiales are listed here, including awards for film, comics, visual arts, and what I assume are RPGs.
