Somewhat related: I think you folks are missing Germany’s annual Kurd Laßwitz Preis, named after author Kurd Lasswitz. Here’s the link, according to Locus:

That site hasn’t been updated since 2007. Can anyone tell us whether the prize is still being awarded? And if so, how does it work? (our German is not good.)
Not sure what’s going on. Glasshouse by Charles Stross recently won the prize for Best Foreign Novel. He posted a video on YouTube in September 2009 with this note:
“Glasshouse won the Kurd Laßwitz Pries, a German award similar to the Nebulas, in the Best Foreign Novel category. This is the presentation and my acceptance at Penta-Con, Dresden, 12th September 2009. In German, subtitled version to follow.”
