Science Fiction Awards Watch

We have another press release from the Libertarian Futurist Society. This one has the short list for this year’s Best Novel category in the Prometheus Awards. They are as follows:

  • For the Win, Cory Doctorow (TOR Books)
  • Darkship Thieves, Sarah Hoyt (Baen Books)
  • The Last Trumpet Project, Kevin MacArdry (
  • Live Free or Die, John Ringo (Baen Books)
  • Ceres, L. Neil Smith (Big Head Press, also published online)

Winners for this category and the previously-announced Best Classic Fiction (Hall of Fame) will be presented in an awards ceremony at the World Science Fiction Convention, Renovation, to be held on August 17-21 in Reno, Nevada.
