The Alvar, a fandom achievement prize, is named after the legendardy Swedish sf fan Alvar Appeltofft, and was presented to:
Jonas Wissting
at this year’s national Swedish sf/f convention Konstrast (Swecon) in Uppsala.
Jonas was recognized for his fannish activities, including making sound recordings of panels and presentations at Swedish SF conventions.
