Locus Awards Finalists
April 23rd, 2008 by Editors
Locus has posted the top five finishers in each category for the Locus Awards. These are not “nominees” in the usual sense of finalists that will be voted upon. The winners are already known, and will be announced at the Locus Awards Ceremony in Seattle on June 21st. Locus is just announcing the top five in each category now to give people something to talk about for a couple of months. Feel free to talk away.

It seems once again our campaign to get “From the Notebooks of Dr. Brain” recognized has failed. I guess runner-up for the PKD award isn’t too shabby, but I wish it had gotten more recognition.
What do you think, did bad cover art sink that book?
I only have anecdotal evidence, but it was pretty overwhelming, so yes.
Spoke to Howard. He’s quite happy to have “Things Will Never Be The Same” up for Best Collection. As am I. Oh my yes! It’s really swell.
Some heavy hitters in that category.
Congrats to the authors & fellow publishers.
