Eligibility
Works written and published in German. The author can be of any nationality and the work may be published anywhere in the world. So, for example, works in German from Austria and Switzerland would be eligible.
Categories
- Novel
- Short Fiction
There is no set word count to divide the categories. It is more a question of how the work is published and marketed. A very short work published as a novel would count as a novel.
Winner receives
A cash prize of €1000 and a trophy.
Submissions method
None. The jury undertakes to find and read all eligible works.
