Our Awards section lists many different science fiction awards. Each award is described under the following headings:

  • Presented by: which organization is responsible for administering and presenting the awards
  • Method: how are the winners decided? By popular vote, by members of an organization, by a jury?
  • Eligibility: what books or people are eligible? Is this limited by time, by geography, by nationality?
  • Categories: what categories of award can be won?
  • Winner receives: trophies, money, or just glory?
  • Submissions method: how can you get your work considered?
  • More information: where can you find more information about these awards?
